DO NOT USE HAUSING ANYWHERE!! I booked my room through a person who doesn't tell you if it's private or an agency already. You automatically pay twice to Hausing and then the agency that rents the room or apartment to you. They make you believe you are talking to an owner but you are actually talking to an agency and not a home owner. My room was not as described and although I have never lived there for 3 months I am waiting for the deposit that I paid of 1000 € they have deducted 130 euro for a messaging service that does not work. So don't trust it is a scam. the owner calls detlef and works for the NGB living agency, be careful and don't waste your money on this site
